Course Description
Etudes Sociales 1036 (Level 3)
This course is for students whose first language is French.
In this level the student:
- Learns about the many ways we can communicate and to give to others.
- Learns how to use water, how to use our land, and to look for things to do.
- Learns about maps, globes, and continents.
- Learns about the family, the farm, the town, the city, and to set goals.
- Learns about the different kinds of businesses and to care about the needs of others.
- Learns about food, cotton, wool, water, and natural gas.
- Learns about the history of Jerusalem, Israel, and to think out what to do before doing it.
- Learns about the country of Spain and Christopher Columbus.
- Learns about Canada’s ancestors, the world’s languages, the first people in the Americas, early Europeans in Canada, French Christians in Canada, the life of Joseph, and Louis Hebert.
- Learns about the Canadian government, the purposes of government, God’s Law (Ten Commandments), Cain and Abel, Joseph, and read stories and write answers in cursive.
